This fiber optic power meter performs self-test and self-check for hardware and parameters. GAO Fiber Optics’ highly accurate power meter, model 3020, is small in size and light in weight. It is equipped with a large graphic LCD screen on which displays operation mode, current selection, function prompt area and battery status. The practical power meter tests optical power of 1310nm to 1550nm wavelength signals. Test measurements can be automatically transformed into report forms and printed via an RS232 interface or transmitted to a PC for unified management. This high performance power meter has a self-initiated on-line help function and also offers hints or warnings automatically when an operation fails.
